Haircare Products I’m Loving
It's all about the mane, ladies (and gentlemen - I've been seeing my fair share of man-buns infiltrating). I have to be so careful with my fine, curly hair to avoid breakage and promote growth (which at times seems impossible). This results in me trying and buying my fair share of products. So, here goes…
John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum
This product is very, very new in my rotation. You all know I'm not a fan of applying heat to my hair, but recently I've been so impatient with the air drying process in the mornings. For those days when I'm super froggy and want clean, dry hair immediately, I've been using John Frieda's Frizz Ease Serum on my wet hair before blow-drying. I do a rough dry, not an entire blowout because: 1. I don't know how and 2. I don't give myself enough time. After I dry my hair, I apply...
Not Your Mothers Mousse
I don't think I had tried mousse since I was very briefly addicted to scrunching my hair 10+ years ago. But this mousse tho. After I do a professional (lol) rough dry on my hair, I apply a healthy dollop of mousse. This product doesn't make my hair crunchy, but I do notice it. It is not as light as the curl cream...
Not Your Mothers Curl Cream
I've been using this cream for months and I absolutely love it. It smells lovely, it does a great job of hydrating my hair, and it doesn't leave ANY sticky reside. I repeat, any. I apply this cream immediately after I comb my wet hair just out of the shower. If I have optimum patience (which is typical if I wash my hair at night), I wait for a curly air-dry.
Redken Extra Length Primer
I picked this up on a whim at TJ Maxx because it was discounted and because I love Redken. Out of all of the products listed, this is my least favorite. I think I was expecting some sort of miracle hair makeover that made my hair feel strong, yet soft. My expectations were obviously a teensy bit high, which shouldn't stop you from giving this product a go.
As always, leave your (hair) secrets below xx
