Get the Look: Marilyn Monroe
I posted this look on Instagram I did for a wedding and you were all about it, so I had to let you in on just how I achieved this level of anchorwoman hair. I styled my hair the same way I have in this vintage curls tutorial I filmed. I polished off the look by doing my makeup in the car. Yes, in the car. The unforgiving window light plays a key role in the makeup application. Below is a step-by-step for the makeup routine (Chris politely telling me when he had to brake not included) and don't forget to check out the hair tutorial! So easy.
Put on two generous coats of Maybelline Push Up Drama Mascara. When you think you’re done, you’re not. Keep going.
Brush your brows up and hold them in place with some Vaseline for a natural look.
Apply orange/brown blush along your cheekbones and jawline.
Put on some lippie and get going. You’ve put in all this work, now hit the town (or the diner or wherever you want to show off your full face of makeup).
