Oh Annapolis, where do I even begin? If you're a longtime reader you know that it's a favorite bestie destination of ours. My maid of honor surprised me with a weekend trip bayside to celebrate my wedding (a wifelorette, if you will) and I can't wait to tell you all about what we did/ate/drank/sat/stayed. Let's get to it!
We checked in at the super darling Gibsons Lodging - a favorite of ours from last summer. It once again did not disappoint! The property is very charming, the breakfast is so good, and the staff is incredible. If you need any guidance during your trip, turn to Meredith. She has all the hookups with great restaurant recommendations and conversation. Peg's dog is also the cutest. We were the happiest campers straight away.
We were up bright and early the next morning for sailing lessons. Yes, sailing!
No trip to the waterfront would be complete without waterfront restaurant reservations - go big or go home. We hopped on an adorable water taxi and were off to dinner at The Chart House!
We spent most of the daytime wandering up and down the quaint streets. We made a little detour for ice cream - and then crab dip - before sitting on the dock for a little too long.
After our boat ride, we ventured out to Main Street and beyond for some exploring and eating! I just cannot find this top online, but here are the shorts I'm wearing - they're the best.
I'll leave off on a sweet note. How cute is this crab cake that Meghan made?! ;) We're both already missing Annapolis. Maybe we'll need a 'crab cake' or two between trips? xx
