I've had hair that vaguely resembles a cup of noodles for as long as I can remember. It's been big, it's been frizzy, it's been long, it's been short. Currently, it's short, which is fun and easy, but also...can a girl get some length? I love playing with extensions, but curling them to match my natural hair seems almost impossible. Instead I always compromised my curly hair and straightened it to fit the clip-in locks. It's always good for a change, but it's never really felt very 'me.'

Cue Perfect Locks. Where my curly haired girls at? The concept of curly extensions was mind-blowing to me. Not only would it save me time, but I would feel right at home with big, fabulous hair. A Leo needs her mane. Here's what I thought of my Perfect Locks Curly Extensions:

What I liked -

  • The Consistency. The curly pattern is very similar to my natural hair. To give it more volume, I simply used my Perfect Locks brush to 'frizz it up,' as I like to call it.
  • The Color Match. I never know what to call my color blonde because it seems to change by the day (depending on how often I use toning shampoo...), but Perfect Locks precisely matched the extensions to my locks.

What I didn't like -

  • Nada. I know, I'm obviously in the honeymoon phase. But seriously what is better than extensions I don't have to compromise my natural hair for?!

Shop curly extensions here and my 22 inch 7 piece clip-in extensions here. Who else likes to play with hair?

*Thank you to Perfect Locks.
