Cake. It's my favorite food source. Cookie cake, chocolate cake, red velvet cake, cheesecake - I don't discriminate. But this sugar addict is trying to broaden her horizons in the form of a smoothie involving some greens. How does the girl who hates the kitchen attempt to create a snack that doesn't send her into sugar shock? Here's a super simple recipe I found that kind of sort makes my body not totally hate me:
2-4 cups of mixed greens
1 cup of water
1/2-1 cup of pineapple
2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
Blend mixed greens, apple cider vinegar, + water. Add pineapple + ice. Blend some more.
For me, the apple cider vinegar is my favorite part. I'll do a post soon on all of the uses for apple cider vinegar - this stuff is magic!
