As a fashion blogger (and a lover of clothes, shoes, accessories, and everything nice ;), it's easy to get carried away with the amount of time and money spent on my wardrobe. I often get asked about how often I shop or how large my closet is. What I've learned within the past 2-3 years is that it's not actually about the allotment of cash you set aside for your clothing - it's all about your shopping philosophy. What's mine? It's incredibly simple, but it's been insanely helpful.
If you're going to dream about it later that night, buy it.
There have been so many occasions where I have impulsively bought something I thought I 'needed' and I actually wore maybe twice. Those instances where I've actually thought about what I'm purchasing have actually led to some of my favorite pieces.
What's your shopping mantra? xx
