More time. We all want it, especially in the morning. In an effort to streamline my morning routine + my sanity, here are the few changes I've made to save time:
Outfit Planning. I love seeing all of my clothes at once in order to be aware of my options. Trying to piece together a fresh, sophisticated look just isn't going to happen for me at 4:30 am. And, I'm okay with that. On the Sunday nights that I'm feeling especially ambitious, I will plan out my outfits for the week, hanging them in order on my rack. I have this rack from Target. It is super sturdy + wonderful.
Meal Prep. This is the most annoying step on my to-do list every night. The last thing I feel like doing after a long day is planning fuel for the next long day. However, I am always absolutely thrilled when I pack my breakfast and lunch the night before. It also helps to avoid me tossing something unhealthy in my purse the morning of and/or buying cookies for lunch. Which I swear I have never done ;)
Shoe Selection. Some may group this step with Outfit Planning, but for shoe addicts like me, it needs its own bullet point. I own way too many pairs + not enough space, so finding just the shoe I'm looking for is not feasible if I only have a few minutes to spare. I set aside the pair of heels - normally :) - just under my clothing rack so I can grab 'n go as quickly as possible.
The Essentials. It may sound super simple, but placing my everyday go-tos in the order in which I apply them has worked wonders for me.
