- Flashback Friday: NOLA -

Ah, New Orleans. This time last year I was on one of my favorite trips I've ever taken - to Louisiana. I spent four days in this lovely town, without having one bad meal! Read below for my doozy of a recap xx

Food + Drink:

Tropical Isle. Happy hour drinks!

Coop's Place. Appetizers + lunch.

The Three Muses. An amazing, always changing tapas menu with live music.

The Spotted Cat. More live music!

Dat Dog. The best gator dogs.

Stanley's. Consistently perfect breakfasts with an awesome staff - we went twice ;)

Little Vic's. Great late night gelato.

The Grill Nola. Tasty breakfast with a fun waitstaff.

Cafe Beignet. So many delicious treats.

King Fish. Chic happy hour with rabbit gumbo - don't knock it 'til you try it ;)

Candlelight Lounge. Such a fun night filled with live music + dancing.

The Monteleone Carousel Bar. The coolest bar that has ever been. A must-see.

Crescent City Brewhouse. Huge portions of amazing food.

Cafe du Monde. Hands-down my favorite place to grab cafe au lait + a few beignets.

The French Market Inn. I absolutely loved the look and feel of staying in the French Quarter. It was also primely located near the very awesome Bourbon Street ;)

Frenchmen Street. Whether you're an art lover or not, this strip will entertain you for hours. We went twice!

Warehouse District. We braved the walk here all the way from the French Quarter and it was quite the interesting one. It was a ton of fun just wandering around. We even found the coolest glass gallery!

Audobon Aquarium. A neat alternative to the eating + live music all week.

Peaches Records. A really fun shop to purchase some jazz.

Spa Atlantis. Still the best massage I've gotten. The complimentary wine + robes were amazing.

Jackson Square. Definitely an interesting place to hang out + people watch.

Garden District. Mostly everything was closed while we were there, but the zoo was fun!
