It's brow time.
Has anyone else felt the unnecessary pressure to focus on their eyebrows within the past few years? This eyebrow craze is real + looks as though it's here to stay for a bit longer. I've had eyebrows that are both too big + too small. I've filled them in with pencil, eyeshadow, + sometimes I haven't filled them in at all. So, what am I doing now with my brows? Let's get to it.
Firstly, I've been growing my brows out since 2013. Yes, lovelies, that means I have been tweezer-free. Instead I trim my brows. The natural brow look isn't for everyone, but after much trial and error, I have found that letting my eyebrows do their thing complements my face much more than I could artificially.
Secondly, when I apply moisturizer to my face (I use extra virgin coconut oil), I am always sure to use it to style my brows. I brush the hairs upwards and already I am looking more human.
Thirdly, I use a little of this e.l.f. eyebrow powder in Ash. I gently fill my brows in without extending them. If I am feeling dramatic, I will add extra powder to the arch for contrast.
I'm always interested in other ladies' beauty routines - what kind of eyebrow do you prefer?
